MTS, you are doing a terrible job. Stop embarrassing Manitoba.
We want to apologize for the long wait times and the comment our representative made to you on the phone. We have had a higher number of calls recently. If you can send me your account number and contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org I can have a manager review your call as well as the other issues and set up a callback.
We are working through the process of improving service in those areas but the timelines on approvals of new cell sites can take considerable time and can be difficult in established areas like River Heights.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
Honestly if you want a good idea of the affected area for River Heights, check out the Rogers coverage maps which works on the same network. Theirs shows a large blob in the centre of River Heights that instead of reading Good Indoors & Outdoors just reads Good Outdoors (obviously meaning 'not good indoors'). That is useable, reasonably accurate information from a competitor who is willing to be honest with potential customers.
I honestly spent a lot of time in those neighbourhoods this past summer and never once had issues. As I suggested many times it is possible to give generalized locations where service is in issue without describing huge regions.
For example describe a location like "Portage Ave between Vaughan and Memorial" or the Polo Park Shopping Centre, the River Heights Arena, etc.
You admit to having lived and worked in a number of areas so it should be easy to describe one where the issue occurs that is not your current home or place of work if you are concerned about personal safety.
That's kind of why they're doing all these community meetings about towers and such.
