You are approaching $50 in data overage charges

I noticed my phone came with a tether option so I tried using it this evening and tried to load a page and it said "You are approaching $50 in data overage charges. Continue?" I know my phone plan didnt come with tethering that's why I just wanted to see it would work. How could I have racked up $50 in data already?

Hi Firstclass,
If your plan doesn't come with tethering the network wont allow your phone to tether to another device.  You may be able to enable it in your phone but it wont allow connectivity on anything else.  As for the overage notice I couldn't say specifically if it was true or not but the tethering likely wouldn't have caused it.  Your best bet would be to either contact our billing department to inquire if there has been any overages charged or even easier would be to download our MyAccount app.  This will enable you to monitor your data and check your current bill.  It can be found in your app store (for android and iOS).  More info on the app can be found HERE.
