Will MTS wifi (in home) work with non MTS cell phone? Or can I keep using router I bought?

We are currently with Shaw and switching to MTS bundle ( total home phone, lightning 20 internet, ultimate basic tv). We have a desktop computer, tablet and a blackberry q5. The cellphone is with another provider. Our router is a linksys. When we have our services installed, does the internet modem? have wifi built in, do we pay for wifi installation for an extra fee? Or can I keep using my own linksys router? I would like to know if my blackberry q5, which is with a different provider, will work in my home on MTS wifi since I don't use data and only wifi. Or can I keep using my linksys and not need or use MTS wifi in my home? Sorry I'm a bit confused. Thanks for your help!

Hi Shelly,

Kenneth is correct, the Ultimate TV equipment has a built in Wifi router included with the service and is compatible with all wireless devices that we have found, no extra fee.  If you are looking for help connecting a device you can contact our technical support group and they would be more than happy to walk you through it or you can click HERE and the MTS support website will show you where to find the information you need to connect it on your own.
