Will a Shaw PVR communicate with a MTS 2 - wire home set-up?

I have a Shaw PVR, which I purchased from Shaw.  Rather than take a loss on re-selling the unit, I would like to use it with a wired TV in the basement.  Will the Shaw DCX3510M (500GB) PVR, communicate with a MTS 2-wire Modem?

MTS uses a specialized platform called MediaRoom and requires it on all their set top boxes. Also under current Canadian regulations BDUs (cable companies) have no requirement to support equipment they have not approved and originally supplied. If you were hoping to use the Shaw PVR with MTS Ultimate TV you will unfortunately be out of luck.
