Wifi security settings on laptop

I'm looking for what the wifi connection security settings should be on my laptop. It was working fine, and then MTS reset my modem. I don't know if there related because the wifi still works on my iPhone. Now when I go to connect my laptop using wifi, the laptop tells me that the security settings don't match the ones of the network.
I need to know what they're supposed to be and I can't find that info anywhere!

Hi Nicole,
Depending on the type of equipment you have from us will affect where you can get this information.  If you have an Ultimate TV RG, like a 2wire or a Pace, then your wireless information will be printed on the side of it.  If you have an Actiontec or Speedstream modem then you would have to login to the device directly to get this information.  With a computer wired directly into the modem you can navigate to the address 192.168.100.254 through a web browser and you can obtain the settings in there.  There are instructions to do this found HERE.  The only thing this page wont tell you is the login credentials for your modem which is different for each.  If you do have an Actiontec or Speedstream modem and have troubles logging in you can always contact our Technical Support group 24/7 and they can help you get this information as well.
