Why is there a Sent and Sent Messages folders showing up in multiple MTS accounts both via web interface as well as when the account is configured for a Windows based email client? What is the purpose of the Sent Messages folder?
Hi pcguy, Each email client or email website has it's own naming convention for sent messages. What happens with an IMAP setup is the mail client (if it has a different name for the sent folder than the website) will create it's own, and then it syncs with the server. You could see folders named sent, sent messages or sent items. The catch with these would be depending where you sent your email from (website or mail client) will affect which folder your sent message is stored in.
