Does anyone know if after a certain period of time you are considered a "New Customer" again?

Just curious as I got rid of MTS TV in April 2016 but I saw this offer today - https://www.mts.ca/residential/offers/free-tv-offer

Is that only for people who have NEVER had MTS TV or is it for people who haven't had MTS TV in X amount of months too?

Just curious if it's worth calling in for as I have internet 25 at the moment and have been without TV for a while but was thinking about maybe getting it again and this would just sweeten the deal. lol

For the first 6 months, you get:
  • Free Ultimate TV Basic pack with 63
channels and 1 set top box
  • Unlimited high speed internet with up to 25 Mbps
download speed & 2 Mbps upload speed

All for $35 a month (regular price $117 a month)

And great news for existing MTS internet customers - you are also eligible for free TV service for 6 months if you already have Lightning 25 internet and are new to Ultimate TV.

Like Amanda I was thinking 6 months (180 days) but I see that Shaw considers a new customer somebody who has not subscribed in 90 days so MTS may be matching that.

i called....it's being installed on Friday. (which will be very easy for the tech as the ethernet cables are still exactly where they need to be and still plugged into my MTS gateway)

The rep said you are a new customer after 30 days....

I splurged and got a second box and added PVR service for $9 a month.

Amazing deal. :) Love that pick and pay is here....although MTS prices seem ALOT higher than Shaw...Shaw you can pick any 10 for $20.
