When setting up Internet service with the MTS Ultimate TV service there is no installation charge, and you also receive a MTS Router to use for wifi in the home at no additional charge.

MTS Ultimate TV service normally has free installation for the first Tv, while additional TV's may require a wire run to the desired location which is typically $25.00. The primary TV get's a Set Top Box which has it's monthly $3.00 rental charge included, however additional TV's that you wish to have service on will need their own set top box which is $3.00 per month.
(You can also opt for a Wireless Set Top Box now which does not need a wire run to it so that fee gets avoided, and being Wireless if the Tv needs to move locations the box moves too without more wires being run, Wireless Set Top Boxes are $6.00 per month)

Typically there is also a $45.00 installer visit charge as well as an installer is coming out.

This is all standard costs and charges though. MTS offers quite a few services and special offers, often with free installation (so the $45.00 charge is waived), for the most up to date information I always recommend giving the Customer office a call, or stopping by a MTS Connect Store, or web chatting on the MTS.ca website with a specialist who can let you know about current offers and can go over the services with you in detail.
