TRUE HIGH SPEED IN CONVERSATION

With High Speed ads around town saying MTS has the fastest speed in Manitoba, can they actually answer why they are downgrading me from 100 to 7 MBPS when I move downtown? I thought they wanted to revitalize the area. I have always been MTS but it seems I have to go SHAW now to get anything reasonable in my new space. I am sorry MTS I would have gone with you but you seem to be behind the times!

Official Response
Hi Clark,
That's a tough spot to be in, but I can relate.  I was in a situation a few years ago when I moved downtown and MTS only had ADSL, up to 7 MBPS, and couldn't even get TV.  I then moved again a little while ago, not that far away, and am now able to get VDSL2 and get 25 MBPS and TV.  The advertisements of "Fastest speeds in Manitoba" was derived from overall tests in the entire province.  There was an article published in PCMag.com and can be found HERE that talks about the tests they did and explain the results.
