If it is like HSPA and LTE, MTS will be slow to turn on LTE-Advanced. For HSPA and LTE the rollouts were relatively late compared to elsewhere in Canada as it seemed MTS and Rogers needed to negotiate their shared network agreement, and likely agree to the cost split. Without inside knowledge I would guess this is happening for LTE Advanced as well.
We're definitely in the planning and testing stage for LTE-Advanced, I'll update this thread when it is enabled. It will become more relevant as lowband LTE is rolled out in populated areas so outdoor/indoor transitions become a bit smoother. I've changed this thread status from Not Planned to Planned. I'm looking forward to it as much as you all, it's pretty neat.
