STB On-Screen Menus zooming in/out

I've noticed this issue with my STB, and I'm wonder if anyone else has experienced the same, to where at very random times while scrolling through the guide, using the search feature, or even perhaps any other available options within the STB menus, that sometimes it would zoom in or out for no known reason, as I'm just guessing it's a software or firmware bug that hasn't been resolved. This has been happening at rare times for as long as I can remember having the Ultimate TV service, but just never addressed the issue 'til now, while it started happening with the 2.1 version and above, and perhaps it even happened during version 1.6 , I don't know. If it'll help for further assistance, I have the VIP2262 STB. I'll also mention that it only happens within the black background menus, and not the blue colored menus.

Hi Zeph,

I am not aware of any bug that would cause what you are describing.  

Does this happen on SD channels and/or HD channels?  can you ensure you have Zooming turned off - Press Right Arrow, from menu  select TV Zoom, and then ensure it is set to Normal.

It doesn't happen on any of the channels themselves, it happens on the black menus within the various options from the blue menus. As 'Fossill' mentioned in the post below, describes the problem perfectly. I'm sure it's no big deal to most, but I just found it annoying at times.

I have been enjoying MTS TV since it finally landed in Brandon waaaay back. Matter of fact, I even called and talked to a rep a couple times, and at one point, I was told a year roughly. I waited, and changed over pronto to MTS. Sure glad! Anyway, that zoom-in-out thingy...it's happened to me rarely whist looking around for something on the menu. Then, as fast as it appears...it's gone. Usually, just going to a tv show in progress or a recording and later going back to search again and all is normal. That's technology for ya....but certainly nothing to worry about, at least not on my end.
