Here we haven't had a speed increase in 20 years.
I doubt there ever will be either.

I'm going to wait until spring when it warms up and start looking into other providers.

I apologize as until a the new network is ready to launch we are unable to begin scheduling upgrades, and unfortunately until the ground thaws expansions of the new Fibre Optic Network are limited as most of the work is outdoors and is being done underground.

Upgrades can take some time though as we need to setup new facilities, run new lines through a community, and typically a upgraded network won't launch till at least 70% of a community is wired (for fairness, and to ensure it will be a success).

I would recommend webchatting with a Bell MTS Specialist on the website, or contacting the Customer office by phone when you have a moment, as the specialists there can grab your account details and place them on the Fion Interest list. This helps out developers plan out expansions and allows the Customer office to contact you by phone, email, or by mail to let you know when an upgrade is available.

Bell MTS is striving to upgrade as much of Manitoba as they can over the next few years, as Billions of dollars are being invested in the Cellular network, as well as the Internet, TV, and Home phone network. Unfortunately construction is limited to a shorter period than we'd like due to the weather.
