So what's the problem with rural internet tonight?

Rural western MB here internet is down. Rebooted MTS router and could not obtain IP address. Switch over to cellular to find out there was no IP network there as well (voice and texts) still work. After 10 minutes cellular is back but very slow. I can now obtain and IP address on home DSL but unable to brows any sites. MTS status page is loading super slow so I guess many people are hitting it checking for an update.
Are the Jets playing again tonight?

Yea my internet for just the past few days has gone down by 5Mbps in the evenings. And now today it's just so slow, can barely browse any sites. I would like to see the service status page mention this issue, and all other issues even if they're not that big.

MTS = Manitoba's Temporary Service ?
I sure do wish we could have an explanation as to why service has been so temperament over the last 4 weeks? I can only wish and hope it's infrastructure upgrades that's going to eventually make service faster or more reliable.
