So we have lobbied the federal gov to improve cell service to rural areas , has anything been done yet , I am from Miami mb and can see the tower flashing at night yet can't make a call without dropping it . even mts guys working in the area have to leave town to make a call . My phone has so little battery life I have to charge it every day . What would it take to boost a tower to go one more mile ??

Hi Rob,

I've examined the area and it has a lot of challenges from a topographical perspective relative to our sites. The closest HSPA site to you is actually 22km away at Morden.

Unfortunately due to the elevation changes and tower heights, the site serving you is the one at Haywood, 32km away. This is at the very limit of what HSPA is capable of even at max power and no tilt.

We will keep this area in mind for future planning but there is nothing currently in the works.
