So the internet here been always bad since I got it few years ago.
Tired of paying high for this type of speed.
Is there any plans on making it better on Northern Manitoba or am I stuck with this for another 5-10 years.

Your high ping would seem to indicate a reception problem. As to low speeds, it's not just northern Manitoba. Many areas in this province, even just outside Winnipeg suffer the same ridiculous speeds. Promised upgrades for over a decade never happen! Third world countries have better speeds!

Here in Norway House, speed is similar. Night at that time you tested it is 0.40Mb/s and during day it drops to 0.04Mb/s, ping can be as high as 1000 even near the tower. I couldn't put up with the high bills so I complained to MTS. They gave me a $20 discount and they've done so to a few other people I know here. With MTS now Bell MTS, it inspires some hope that service in the North will improve but I'm also kinda skeptical. Complain to MTS, you should at least be given a discount if you haven't done so already.

I agree, Bell MTS needs to start cranking up the speeds in rural Manitoba. We been paying to much for these ridiculous speeds far to long.
