Slow MTS Internet in Swan Valley Area

MTS internet has been extremely crappy since somewhere around Aug.21-Aug.22. I called on Sunday Aug.23 and they didn't have any idea why it was crappy. at first they said they didn't see anything wrong with it and after a while they said they saw I had problems. They tried to blame it on congestion issues, meanwhile I should be able to safely assume congestion should be at a very low point due to the recent fiber optic internet brought in by Westman Communications last month(which I know many people switched over to). I seem to have issues with my internet at about the 2 same times of year ever year for the past few years, April-March and August-September. Every time that i can recall its been a issue with the servers in Dauphin. I'm really getting tired of this crap internet and hearing the same excuses and then hearing that it was generally the same problem as before when it gets fixed. I just want to be able to use my internet without having to worry about if I'll actually be able to do the things I want to....

Sorry to hear your having such issues, I really can't think of anything specific that would cause service issues at those times of the year.  Late August Early September is back to school so I can see usage increasing at that time but nothing really in April or March.  Your best bet is to give our tech support crew a call and have them look into it.  If we can see the history on the account and see a pattern it can certainly be noted on your ticket and perhaps it can help find a more permanent solution.

I already have. I get told the same thing when i call in, we cant find any issues from here we have an appointment booked for a technician to come to your house between 8am-5pm on September.8. It's the same thing almost every time i call in about internet issues, they say they can't find a problem, they send someone to my house 2 weeks later(which is a joke) for them to find nothing wrong, and then wait another 1-2 weeks for them to find out the problem was on their end all along. I know that it's not just me because i have friends who've been experiencing the exact same problem this week and honestly I'm getting really tired of playing the waiting game and almost ready to say forget it and move to the competition.
