Howdy! I'm reporting this service outage:
South St. Vital customers may be having difficulty with their TV and Internet services. Can you guys please go fix that problem?

Hey Brad I see that you often post service outages here and ask BellMTS to go fix them.

I am not sure if you are aware but BellMTS is  aware of any outages at their Network Operations Center before the outage gets posted on their outage page  due to  their remote monitoring of the telephone Switches,  Remote Wire Centers and street DSLAM's as well as certain conditions at cell towers.   Depending on the problem they will work with the test desk staff and assign the correct  resources to work on it.  
An example would be calling in a splicing crew if there is a major cable cut or calling MB Hydro if there are power problems indicated.

About the only thing the NOC would not be aware of is an outage past a monitored location and that usually impacts a small number of customers and would be usually reported  to the repair staff at 611 by the customers.

I understand that, my good Clifford. That's why I check the Service Status page to make sure that everything's operating normally.

To be honest, I'm a little confused at why you are posting outages. If you see them on the outage board then MTS knows about it and working on a resolution. So posting here asking them to work on it is moot.
