I just stumbled on a Root Metrics report done in Winnipeg. I was very disappointed that MTS was not included in this study (No fault of MTS) considering its basically on MTS's front door step. I will post a link to MobileSyurp article, they have also reached out to see why a carrier with over 50% market share would not be included in such a study.
Roots Metrics should do a study like this outside the city and see how the big 3 perform without leveraging MTS tower network. As much as a do harp on MTS from time to time, if it was not for the service (cellular) they provide outside of the cities (in the Rural) there would likley be no service at all.
I just thought this article was interesting and figured I would share it. Although with no raw data (that I could find) its not very credible but you can reference the main article link within the mobile syrup link.

It is a interesting and also puzzling that they didn't include MTS - I do think MTS would have been very similar in their high level categories.  If nothing else it shows that there is a competitive environment and as noted in many other news articles lately that thanks to MTS - Manitobans enjoy some of the lowest wireless rates in Canada.

And as an aside we do appreciate the feedback and personally I enjoy the interaction with our customers like yourself on this forum.

I actually saw that post on MobileSyrup, and made a couple realistic comments.  I think that RootMetrics company is full of BS!
