The Ultimate T.V. remote is terrible. When I go to movie categories, sometimes the movies are not shown that are shown on the guide. Also if I go to movies, why are there non movies shown in the movie category? MTS Classic was much more convenient. Why do I have to wait to select channel at exactly the moment the show is on. With Classic T.V. I could just move over to the channel by pressing o.k........The info guide does not give what type of movie such as : Drama, horror, sci fi etc......Ultimate T.V. is a downgrade and I am totally disgusted at MTS a how they are ripping off the consumer. Time to change to abetter service............

The issues you are referring to with the guide categories and so forth; The information that is loaded into the guide comes from a 3rd party and is incorrect on occasion.  MTS has very limited input into the guide issues from the vendor.   Gracenote is an example of such a service provider.

As for selecting future broadcasts, the right arrow on your remote should allow you to move to future broadcasts.  Pressing the OK button on the remote should load a screen where you have an option to schedule a recording, and see the information on the program. (see screenshot)

If the buttons on your remote are malfunctioning, you can take it to an MTS Connect store where they will exchange it for you free of charge

I hope this helps.

In terms of changing to a future broadcast, say it is 5 minutes before the top of the hour when the next set of shows are starting. On Classic you could browse the guide for shows starting in five minutes, click on the one you wanted to watch and it would change to that channel immediately. On Ultimate you either need to scroll back to the program still airing to change to the channel immediately.
