Reduced speeds when over data limit is ridiculous.

How come when I go over 15gbs data per month the speed go stupid slow. I understand why the speed would slow down but I feel as if it is so slow that I am using dialup. Please fix this issue. Maybe 1/4 speed or 1/8 speed is fair... Not 1/10000 speed.

Hi Davey,

We ensure that all customers have access to a consistent, reliable experience by managing the data on our wireless network. Activities such as online gaming, watching live streaming TV or video and tethering multiple devices all consume a lot of data and can contribute to wireless network congestion. We have a Fair Usage Policy which includes thresholds at which speeds will be controlled (CDMA 10GB, HSPA 15GB, LTE 15 GB). If you reach these thresholds in a 30 day period, you will experience controlled speeds, but it shouldn't affect low bandwidth applications like sending emails, IM, browsing etc. If you find yourself consistently streaming a lot of data, we recommend using Wi-Fi whenever possible rather than the cellular network.
