Since about Feb I have been seeing many times where the speeds drop from a normal 25+Mbps to 1Mbps for upto about 1 hour then it starts working again. I have confirmed with 6+ people when this happens and they all have the exact same issues at the exact same times I do. MTS has replaced the modem (which I told them was a waste of time) and still this happens. Well MTS cannot find the issues that has been plaguing many customers in Brandon and I assume even other communities so what is it going to take to fix this? I have included some speedtest.net results which show the speed drops. THIS IS NOT A COMPUTER ISSUE. Also a picture I included using the program PingPlotter shows a problem at one of the hops which is within ALLSTREAM (former MTS partner I think). MTS just had to come in and replace my modem again today since a tech support rep appears to have pushed a firmware update that failed and bricked the modem.
