Have friends of mine in Royalwood area who apparently have a problem with their PVR.
I was told at lunch today that between bed time on Sunday and dinner on Monday all of their PVR recordings went away and they were getting closed captioning on the TV.
Husband removed the closed captioning Monday and I told the wife today there was no way for MTS to recover her missing programs as far as I know.
What I am wondering was there a MTS issue on Sunday or Monday (@ Alpine or further upstream ) that could have issued a wipe command ?
I told them that it was probably a local power bump that scrambled the PVR's memory and unless the problem comes back they should not worry about it.
Apparently a scheduled recording they set up for Tuesday is showing up in the to be watched list so it does not appear to be a permanent fault with the PVR.
Any other thoughts or suggestions. I also gave them the 204-CALL-MTS number for support.
