proXPN on iOS refuses to work

Trying to use proXPN VPN service on iOS. I have configured using multiple endpoints using PPTP as well as using proXPN via OpenVPN on iOS. Neither will connect. The PPTP connection attempts generates an error message

"The PPTP-VPN server was unreachable. Verifiy the server address and try reconnecting. If problem continues, contact your Administrator"

Using the proXPN client on Windows7 works when using OpenVPN however if I switch it to PPTP which is what the proXPN is using on iOS it errors out.

Is MTS blocking PPTP connections on the Pace 5168N-010 gateways firmware 10.5.4.527106-mts

Hi pcguy
Can you send an email to community@mts.ca with the MAC from your RG or WAN IP and I will ask one of my guys to look at it? We are working with Pace on some VPN issues with the new firmware. AT+T has been wrestling with the same problem ( they also use Pace gear), so we should be able to determine if your scenario is one of the troublesome ones. I'm going on vacation, but I've made arrangements for yours to be looked at.
