SIM card issues.

My phone was all well and fine untill 12:30 today went to call someone and my phone had no data and my sim card wasn't being seen.and I was in the unicity area And I have been putting money on my bill its still 200 bucks give or take but that shouldn't be the point of cut off...and as I am typing on my mothers phone my data is back up...unless there was issues in the area or its my phone should I take my phone in just in case?? Update: it did it again roughly 2pm it said the sim card error again, but it rebooted itself and was fine after...I'm coming to the conclusion its my sim card...but who knows...

Hi Chad,

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your phone recently. Have the issues still been continuing since you sent us this message? It definitely sounds like the error was coming from the SIM Card. If you'd like to visit one of our Connect Store locations to assist you in diagnosing the issue, they can certainly assist you with replacing the SIM Card if it is required to fix the problem.

Sorry for the late reply..Here what happened after..on Saturday took my phone to the Selkirk Location and got a new sim card thinking that was the issue but nope it was not the issue it still gave me no sim card but when I rebooted itit was fine so I left it as that so went on my marry way to Kp mall and I couldn't remember when my  contract was done so I went back to MTS and asked only had 4 months left and I asked what could the issue be with my cell and he told me that it wasn't my sim but my phone so with only 4 months left canceled my current contract and go with the G4 as my new phone..so in the end it was my cell but got a better phone in the end....
