Pico LTE Towers?

The discussion on LTE congestion and "putting a new tower in your backyard" got me wondering. I read that there is technology which exists similar to a home WiFi router that provides basically a tiny LTE front print. Has MTS looked into using these as possible work arounds to congestion issues where the wired network is decently robust? Could be a reasonable temporary fix in fast growing areas.

Hi Cory, we are always looking at small cell applications, we've done detailed investigation into the options and as soon as there is a product that is compatible with our network that makes sense we'll definitely deploy it asap.

Good question.
