phone upgrades through customer service

is MTS starting to allow customers to upgrade devices through customer service?  The reason why I ask is because when phoning mts customer service it now says press 1 for contract expiry date press 2 for hardware upgrades! and if not what is that option for thanks.

Hi Gordon! At this time customers cannot upgrade devices over the phone...but stay tuned for updates on that!

As for what the ‘hardware upgrade’ option is for...this is to ensure that the customer is transferred to a representative who will be able to answer their questions. People often have questions about new plans, hardware, etc. and we try to distinguish those calls from, say, a call about billing.
