Phone not available

I'm very frustrated with BellMTS right now.
I just discovered last week that I can upgrade my phone (past contract) to a Samsung S6 Edge for zero additional cost.
That's the theory.
In practice, BellMTS stores are telling me they haven't had that model for months now. The web site still shows it.
Also, because BellMTS stores are owned by many different owners, there is no central database that can tell you where to find stock in a particular model.
For my low-data subscription (2.5 GB) Bell won't let me get the S7 or S8 at zero cost.

Can anyone tell me where to get a phone that BellMTS says they have?

Sort of odd as the S8 is being commonly advertised as a $0 phone if you move to an in market rate plan.

S7 and S8 are both available in the upper tier. No idea if the stores carry any stock.

Hey Dave,

Sorry to hear you're frustrated. Certainly not what we're after!

I did some digging on my end; and you're right as the stores are part of franchises there is no data base that device centrally gives information on all stores. It would be specific to the chain of stores you're working with, IDC, Elite, Advance so on so forth.

It would be a matter in getting in contact with a store in those franchise and asking if they have any in any of their stores that they could transfer in for you.

Cheers,
Gillian
