Why can't my phone get any kind of signal in River Heights?

Here is a posting from the beginning of August /15 from MTS's Jessica about service in River Heights

"River Heights, including Waverley Street, is right in a known problem area for service which we are working to solve. There is no simple or cheap solution, so we are planning on building two new sites next year if possible to resolve the issue. Acquiring real estate in this area can be a challenge, so we encourage customers in the area to watch for public consultation notices in order to come out and voice support to allow us to install new cell sites to improve service. Thanks for your patience, we understand the frustration. "

No one cares if it's a simple or cheap solution... that's your problem. You are currently taking your customer's money and providing no service. It has been over 10 years of terrible service in the area. FIX IT.

Make sure you attend the public hearings, stand up, speak and strongly voice an opinion supporting MTS putting up the new tower. You can be sure that the opposition to service improvements in River Heights will be out in full force to have their voice heard.

you are right Cory, the Telus tower hearing last fall in St. James is a current example of community opposition to service improvements for any provider

Thank you for the explanation, but I'm afraid you're missing the point. You clearly understand that there is a need for better service/coverage but you are still charging all your customers in the area full rate and providing no warning at the time of signing the contract that service to an address within those affected areas will be minimal to non-existent.

MTS is knowingly taking money from customers and providing poor to no service. I should revise my earlier post to say "FIX IT or admit it, give us back our money, and let us out of this very unethical contract."
