We’re happy to announce that customers will now be able to access Netflix, the world’s leading Internet TV network, directly on MTS Ultimate TV.

We now offer the streaming service on set-top boxes, which removes the hassle of having to switch video inputs or purchase additional hardware.

You can now access Netflix’s entire catalogue on channels 55 and 1055 or by pressing the interactive button on your remote.  You will still pay Netflix directly to watch their service.

I just saw this announced on Facebook. But I'm wondering is it available to every set top box in the house or just one? I turned on my tv/set top box in my bedroom and the channels were just there already and I was able to sign and access Netflix.

However my parents bedroom tv/set top box (which is identical to mine in every way) and our living room tv/set top box don't have either channel 55 or 1055 showing up nor is the channel in the guide. In other words my tv is the only one that can access Netflix atm.

It will show up soon or you could give them a restart and they should be available right away...

That's what I was thinking. I thought maybe since it's just new that it hasn't rolled out to every box yet but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'll wait and see, thank you!

did you try unplugging you set top box from the AC power?  I had to do that to mine to get it to show Netflix ch 50 after it rebooted

Looking at the MTS web page it does not say that its limited to Winnipeg

It is available wherever MTS Ultimate TV is offered. I don't think that includes Morden.

Sorry

I see the Netflix on my tv I'm kind of disappointed because I have 2 RGs installed to separate tv and Internet because of technical issues and would of loved to try it out however I prefer my current setup until there is a fix for my current issue I have. It's okay though as I have Netflix on my blueray player.

Glad to see. I have been with Netflix for about a year and well worth the money.
