Hi, does MTS plan on upgrading to a newer WiFi router? Right now they are installing just a Wireless N router in people's home. Shaw is now installing witless AC duel band routers in people's homes. Does MTS plan on catching up to the competition?
We are in the process of evaluating dual band extenders, which takes a lot less time than introducing a new router. In discussions with the technical teams in AT+T, the typical cycle for evaluating, selecting, and bringing a new router to market is about 18 months there. We usually take around 12, so it's not something that can be entered casually.
