MTS Total Internet - 15GB data cap?

I've been looking into the Total Internet plan through MTS but can't find much information on the data caps and how they would work. A rep told me there's a 15GB cap but didn't specify details.

My understanding is that Total Internet can replace my home internet (Currently Shaw) and my mobile phone data (currently Bell).

Does the 15GB cap apply to both home and mobile? For example, if I were to download FIFA 16 on my XB1, the file size is 20GB. Does that count toward the cap of 15GB for a month and will it then throttle both my home and mobile internet speeds? I'd still like to use Spotify or Apple Music daily on my iPhone.

Hi Craig,
Those are very good questions.  The data used for your home internet and your mobile device are still measured separately.  On your home internet there is no limits and no caps at all.  On your mobile device it is still subject to the Fair use Policy that can be found HERE.  But to sum it up if you have flat rate data on your mobile device you will never be charged for overages but after 15 GB of data usage the speeds are limited.  Hope this helps.
