MTS rural monopoly taking advantage of people with no other options

I live in Narcisse Man. MTS is the only option for a land line in our area, and cell phones do not work here. We have no dial tone on our phone at least 3-4 times a Mont. Could have no phone for one day, sometimes as long as a week. It is all the people around us for about 5 miles. MTS refuses to fix the problem permanently and it just keeps happening. Its been going on for 2 or 3 years. But with no other options MTS figures they don't have to do anything about it, what are we gonna do, live with no phone all the time? This problem could have deadly consequences one day, maybe then someone will listen.
