Mts email migration

Forced to move my email over...followed MTS instructions, worked for my computer but will not work on my Samsung phone. Been without incoming email on phone for 5 days! Just had service tech at my home to turn the wifi back on our router due to MTS firmware update..tech wasn't exactly sure why several homes he had been to had to have it turned back on.  What the hell is going on over at MTS??????

What Samsung model do you have?  I had no problems setting up the email with my Samsung G4.

When I changed over  I just followed the android instructions here https://www3.mts.ca/mts/support/wireless/features/how+do+i+setup+my+mts+mail+on+my+smartphone and had no problems.

there is also a little more detailed help here for the various Samsung units if its any help

I have an S3. I've tried and tried using the MTS instructions and I keep getting 'server will not respond' or 'authentication failed'. Outgoing seems to work..no incoming.
I'll be going into St. Vital Center tomorrow to get this fixed or I'm going to lose it. Just had mts to our home fRI. to fix wifi too..and guess what?..This a.m. the wifi is crapped out again. I manually reset router... AGAIN.
Used your links AGAIN...just keeps saying 'Authentication failed' or Account already in use"...ugh!!

Have you spoken with anyone on our technical support team? It seems like Clifford has already provided some useful steps and it sounds like those didn't work so something else may be causing the issue. 
Technical support can lead you through ensuring it's set up correctly and nothing is preventing the connection.
