Yes! Thank you for posting, Clifford. :)
Here is the link to our own press release if readers are interested:

That would help with service in communities along Highway 6 on the way to Thompson.

I just heard the first radio ad for "Bell MTS Better together, better for Manitobans". Looks like we will start seeing commercials for it now too

Now I have visions of print and TV ads of MTS's Morty and the two Bell Beavers Frank and Gordon all coming out of retirement for print and TV ads with the tag line one big family.

I see bellmts.ca domain appears to be parked. I wonder if they are going to In the near future have an information section on that website and I'm thinking that tv ads will be coming soon too. I wonder who is doing these ads Bell or MTS.

Seeing all the improvements proposed I am starting to feel like this merger won't necessarily be as bad as some peoole seem to think.

Could be a cyber squatter holding the name.  There is no contact information while both the Bell.ca and MTS.ca have full information if you do  a domain search.

As for the ads its probably Bell as they have to try and sell the MTS customers on the value of the sale.  Was the Bell radio ad on one of the stations they own in Winnipeg?

Yes 99.9 BOB FM which is a Bell Media station. I have been listening now to Virgin 103.1 all night and nothing else yet.

I wonder if "Better Together, better for Manitobans" will be the slogan once everything is complete

I would only expect to hear the Bell ads during the morning and afternoon drive times where they get the most exposure.

Just got a MTS bill today in the mail and it has the "We're with you tag" on the header line next to the MTS logo.  The tag was not on there last month.

Its just a form flash so its easy to change if they what to go to  the one you mentioned.

I wonder if they kick Rogers off those towers in the North if the deal goes through.

Also they are making it look like highway 6 has no cell coverage right now as they are showing from about Grand Rapids all the way to Thompson with purposed cell coverage. Yes that route doesn't have great coverage but I've traveled that route many times with a booster in my truck. Just one dead spot between Winnipeg and Grand Rapids only for about 5-10 mins. Best coverage spots are between Grand Rapids and Thompson. They are using Manitoba Hydro's towers.
