Hey Quinn, There isn't anything going on in your area so there isn't really a reason why you are needing to do this. What exactly is occurring that is causing you to have to do this? Is your DSL light going out on the modem, or is it simply loosing it's connection? Does your modem connect directly to your computer or are you using a router? These are all questions that can help lead to a reason and possibly a solution.
