Hi Stacey
I agree that you should definitely have a technician sort out this problem for you. In the meantime, there are a few things you can try that may help the technician when he arrives.

If the Wifi is intermittent and sometimes works in an area of your home but in the same area just seems to "disappear", it may be something interfering with the signal. We've seen treadmills, microwave ovens, or even furnace fans that can cause interference when they aren't working as designed. It may be helpful to the technician if you notice that the WiFi is troublesome when a particular device in your home is also operating.

If the Wifi is consistent, but you have weak or "dead zones" the problem is more likely to be in the home itself. For example, older homes sometimes used a metal mesh in the walls that can really play havoc with the signal. Even newer homes sometimes use a metal mesh under tile floors that causes the signal to disperse. Distance plays a big part in Wifi reliability: the farther you are from the router, the more barriers it has to go through, the weaker the signal will be.

All in all, the best thing you can do is arrange to have a technician diagnose and address the problem for you.
