Be it Home phone or Cell phone, as long as MTS knows that you want to keep your existing phone number, we can make the arrangements for you to transfer it over. Some Cell phones can get a special credit, and we do offer some bonuses for home phone as well (depends on the situation with cell phones and the device).

Unfortunately if you are changing communities we can't do that though, like if you are in Winnipeg and moving to Brandon, we can't take your number over as it has to stay in that community. But if you are in Selkirk and want to change providers to MTS and still reside in Selkirk, it's not a problem.

Just let MTS know and we'll take care of it for you. We only ask that you do not cancel the phone prior. (If your number is set to be canceled by the other provider, our request to port it gets rejected. If you leave it active we'll port it and end the billing for that service with that provider for the due date that we are installing it under MTS. So we take care of all the work for you.)

Hope this helps, if not let me know.
