I have had an MTS cellphone and Internet for years but do not receive a bundling discount. Why not?

You have to apply to get the bundle savings.  For having the cell and internet combination you would get $10 a month off.

I am guessing that a customer has to apply as some of the services are different accounts even though they can show up on the same bill.

You can call MTS at 204-225-5687 or apply online https://www3.mts.ca/mts/personal/mybundle/mts+mybundle+request

the discount chart is:

$50 for 6 services
$45 for 5 services
$40 for 4 services
$15 for 3 services
$10 for 2 services

If you have AAA alarms you get an additional $2 a month savings

Yes, I saw that in the link. My comments were more along the line of when did this change? I probably could have made that clearer, my apologies.

I know that many still have the $30 Cellphone and Internet discount, I guess they grandfathered people.

A year or two ago off the top of my head it changed.  I think somewhere in here there is a thread on it.

It must have changed when MTS got the total Internet service. As I even missed that one and thought the $30 was still available. For me though at current the total Internet is the best setup for me.

Effective July 1, 2014 we introduced the five/six service bundling.  And the easiest method to calculate your bundle discount is using our bundle calculator

Note: The Total Internet package is not bundle discount eligible.  Pricing for Total Internet is set up in a way that offers a discount for having two traditional (wireless/internet) services in this uniquely combined packaging.

Also consider the "Total Internet" package. Not sure if it's better pricing, or if you have a smartphone or not.
