I can not get my MAC to see Bonjour devices since my RG was upgrade to a Pace 5168N,
I have put my MAC and the printer on a separate network using a old Linksys router and a Apple Airport express it now works. I would like to remove the Linksys and the Airport from the configuration

Hey Stewart, that is a bit of an odd issue, but it may have something to do with port forwarding.  There are a couple things you can try. You can open the specific ports needed for the Bonjour service (I'm not sure what they are but a quick search on the Apple knowledge base could tell you). The other option is to simply enable DMZ+ for your MAC within the MTS RG, this just opens all the ports and ensures there is nothing blocking.  This would be a good place to start.

I moved the printer and the MAC desktop to the WIFI SSID from the RG and was able to see the printer using Bonjour. I then move the MAC to a wired port on the back of the RG and could no longer see the printer with Bonjour.

On the RG I added a user application call Bonjour with UDP port 5353 and applied it to the MAC desktop this did not help. I placed the MAC into the DMZ and this did not help.

I did a search and found user from another provider (Sonic) with the same issue and the comment was a issue in the fireware of the RG on how it handled Multicast traffic.

I can go to an all WIFI configuration for now but I have a NAS device that does not have WIFI.

Well it certainly sounds like you've done your due diligence on this matter and have been quite thorough.  Another option would be to contact our technical support group and see if there may be a firmware update for your RG.  I know there are a few versions out there and it's possible your's may be due for an update.  They are available by phone 24/7 at 204-225-5687 or via webchat at the bellmts.ca/support website.

I contacted tech support my RG was on version 10.5.4.527158-mts and there was an upgrade available. He upgraded to 10.54.527392-mts and the Bonjour protocol is now working.
Thanks for your help.
