Hello Amanda,

Our high speed internet actually does get delivered over the phone line, however the signal for high speed internet can only travel so far over these lines.  This is the limitation that we run into when attempting to provide service to rural areas.  Even if you are only a quarter mile outside of a town that has high speed internet there may not be facilities in place to transmit the signal far enough outside of town to reach your home.  This being said we are always improving and expanding our network so it is always a good idea to check our website, www.mts.ca for service eligibility at your home, or you can contact our sales group at 204-225-5687 and they can discus available options at your location.
