Huawei b882hub data plan

Our local MTS outlet sold us this hub in January with the $20 basic phone plan & the $27.50 unlimited data plan. Customer service says that plan is not valid with that hub. Now they do not want to return/ refund the hub that we would like to return. We are very unsatisfied with how little knowledge that we trusted MTS to have about this product.
The MTS site shows that all a person needs is the basic $20 plan https://www.mts.ca/residential/wirele.... We have no issues with paying for the services we were assured.

I'm sorry to hear that this has happened.

The information that I have available does indicate that the Jet Hub must be on a calling plan that is specifically designed for the device. This plan includes unlimited local calling, call displace, voice mail, call forward, call waiting, conference calling and 5 GB of data for $60.00 a month. Without being part of the conversation that happened at the Connect store, I can't speak to why they would have put the device on the above mentioned plan for $47.50/month. I am sorry for the misinformation but Customer Care is correct in the information advised to you over the phone.

I think what would be best, would be for you to send in an email to community@mts.ca with all the pertinent details to the situation including your full name, a contact number, your account number if you have it and the jet hub number. We'll see what we can do to help out in this situation and make it right with you and a fair resolution for all included.
