Heyo, I just want to know if there's a way to tell if an unlocked phone will work with SIM cards? My 4S is starting to break down on me, the lock button won't work anymore, it's return mechanism is stuck it seems, and I'm looking at possibly ordering a Samsung Galaxy or something similar to use as my new phone... Anyone got any clue how to tell if the one I'm ordering will work with MTS?

You must confirm that the phone is unlocked to work with any carrier. It must also work with HSPA 850/1900 MHz. Some models of phones in other parts of the world like Asia do not use the same frequency as here in North America. As well if you want LTE to work it must be good for AWS 1700/2100 MHZ
