How many chat agents are on shift at any given time?

I read a comment about chat agents taking a little long to reply to questions etc. How many the sessions do they normally handle at once and are they based in Manitoba or a foreign country.

Great question Sandra,
All of our agents are based in Manitoba for all areas and services.  As for how many sessions a chat agent takes at once depends on the agent and how busy the day is.  On average they can take two chats at once.  Occasionally an agent will get busy with other tasks and can only take one, but on the other hand we have some agents that will sometimes catch three at a time, it depends on how busy they are and what is required in the conversation.  One thing to keep in mind is that our agents on chat often have other duties to perform as well such as order processing, ticket submissions and even social media updates, so they are very busy folks.
