How does mts calculate bill for cancellation of services

I cancelled all my mts services. I cancelled December 5th. My last payment of 206. WAS made Nov. 16th. I received another larger bill from mts. Have I not already paid this?

Do you have a line item showing a charge for  outstanding equipment (for either internet modem  or Fibe TV boxes)?  I am wondering if the equipment  return  may not have yet been processed by BellMTS and should show up as a credit on a subsequent bill.

For the best information on your account status  you can always call BellMTS at 204-call-mts  (204-225-5687).  I personally find its better to wait on hold and talk to a person than try and do billing questions over the MTS Twitter or online chat functions but those options are available here

Billing support is only available Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

Generally your services are billed from the billing date, up until the point of cancellation. In some cases, if service is terminated within a billing period, you may see pro-rated charges from the last billing date, up to the date of having cancelled service.

Customers may also see hardware charges billed to their account, pending the return of your Bell MTS equipment.
