I am currently a tenant of a household and my parents have one wireless wifi router for them to use, they want me to have my own wifi so I can pay for it and use it. Also they want a 3rd box in the house for my room. Would it be possible to have it installed or is not allowed?

Thanks for the question Mike!

Just wanted to confirm with you that it is possible to have more then one Internet connection (wired, or wireless) set up in a house. The service would just need to be wired separately, with consent from the current home owner.

As for the TV service, all the equipment is charged to the main account holder of the TV service. If you'd like to add an additional set top box in your room, the $3.00 charge would be applied to your parents account. Unfortunately we cannot charge you separately for just the equipment.

Feel free to give us a call at 204-225-5687 Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM, and Saturdays 9AM-5PM to set up the Internet service when you are ready.
