email slow Apr 22/16

Just out of curiosity is anybody else having problems with  MTS email being slow tonight?  I have noticed that I have not been notified of any new topics / replies out of the community and  I just received an email that the MTS desktop has a time  of 20:02 while the same email has a time   of 16:48 on my cell's email app

A few test emails from Yahoo and Gmail have yet to make it into my inbox but it seems that outgoing  tests are fine.

PS. it looks like there are older ones (according to the time on my cells email app) starting to make there way to me.  the latest one has a 4 hour difference in the time from the cell to the desktop

Looks like a 4.5 to 5 hour delay last night in receiving emails. and its slow again today.  Time to contact support and see what they know.

Spent  about 25 minutes with MTS tech support and I am supposedly being spammed and that is what was slowing down last nights emails.  Support was not able to say if it was just me or other MTS accounts as well.

They weren't sure why emails from non MTS accounts today are not coming in. (the test ones they sent from a MTS support account came in right away, its about 30 minutes and the one they sent from the MTS Gmail test account has not shown up yet).  A Test one I sent at 8:57 from Yahoo has not shown up as of  1120am.

They will look at my service  again to see whats going on  and it its like this on Sunday I have to call back.

Looks like as of Sunday morning MTS tech support has everything working External emails are coming in as normal again

One interesting thing was one MTS support person I talked to on Saturday thought the topic notification emails from the MTS community were spam.  He had no idea there was a site like this

I talked to my co-worker over in technical support.  He tells me there was issues on a server due to a single user.  Sorry Clifford, you lost on the server lottery this past weekend. Glad it's all resolved now!  And thanks for sharing your experience with the community. :)
