Does MTS block all incoming traffic on a 3G connection?

I've done some research and apparently most mobile service providers will block all incoming traffic on a 3G connection. I was wondering if this is true because is it preventing me from hosting a temporary game server for two friends and playing with my little cousin with Nintendo devices. If it is true, is it possible that I can get it allowed some how?

Hello C Callen,
We do not block all incoming traffic on a 3G connection.  If this was the case you would not be able to use the connection for email or downloading images or anything of the sort.  The connection is however limited as the speed and bandwidth is on the lower end.  If you are trying to run a game server AND play online with a secondary device the bottleneck might be the issue.  You might want to try only one at a time or limiting the global connections occurring at a specific time to help manage the bandwidth.
