Here at MTS we use Midwest Teleservices International as our outbound call vendor, which is why it shows up as MTS on your call display.Midwest is a locally owned, reputable company located in Brandon, Manitoba. Both MTS and Midwest have strict customer information security standards which they abide by. For more information about Midwest Teleservices International visit: http://www.midwest-tel.ca/.

Please note, if you no longer want to receive promotional communications please fill out our form: https://www.mts.ca/mts/services/manage+my+services/do+not+contact.

Hi gordon1111

No they are not the survey calls, we use an automated service for that.

We use Midwest to make outbound promotional calls.

Thanks!

If I recall properly the MTS  marketing/promotional  ones come from a 204-729-nnnn number and may or may not say MTS on call display.

the reason I mentioned  may or may not is some telephones don't recognize  the name information being passed to them.

I checked my  phones after I posted earlier and  I have a MTS marketing call from this spring and looking at one telephone's log it shows the number and long distance, a different brand in the kitchen  shows the number and MTS.

Apparently from what MTS told me years ago there are two slightly different call display specifications (Nortel in Canada and Western Electric in the US) and depending on both the phone and telephone switch software the number always displays but the name may not.
