CRTC 30 day cancellation

MTS has had since about 2006 a 30 day notice requirement for cancellation of TV, Internet, and phone services.

Recently, the CRTC has banned such a practice as it is no longer necessary for a technician visit to disconnect analog wires. A simple flick of the switch on a computer turns the TV off (and internet, and phone).

I believe service providers have until mid January to stop this practice, but I'm wondering if MTS has already begun making the change?
