I currently have MTS high speed internet, landline phone and Ultimate TV. The basic plus add-ons. I know I need internet, but what else is needed as bare minimum in order to subscribe to Crave TV and cancel MTS Ultimate TV. In other words, can I simply have my internet and Crave TV? Thank you.

You simply need a high speed internet connection to subscribe to CraveTV. Currently, MTS does not have an option to subscribe to CraveTV through your MTS bill. This means you need to subscribe directly to CraveTV and may need a credit card.

It may be worth mentioning that other than the Showtime content announced earlier today CraveTV does not offer any currently airing shows like what you would see with MTS UltimateTV.

Thank you, CoryB, for a very quick answer to my question. There's ALWAYS a catch, it seems. I wasn't planning on running away...just curious. Been just a happy clam with all the shows I have now...somewhat overwhelming for sure, sometimes though! I have never had a problem over the years with any service from MTS. I have had the odd flub with something and it is resolved by tomorrow latest by very competent, professional and very nice folks on the other end. I won't say who, but there's a competitor paying a hockey player offering internet and phone for about 50.00 a month, and if you do your homework, all it costs is a measly 250.00 or so for equipment and this and that and noooo thanks. Gotta have rocks in my head to leave time tested and true to SAVE? a few bucks!

Not working for MTS I can say that when I looked at my tv bill recently I did look into how much an OTA (over the air) PVR would cost. I am not 100% there yet myself but it sure was tempting. The problem for me is that the starter package doesn't help when I want TSN for some CFL and NHL games.

100% there. I think it's about 5 years now. As simple as an antenna on the roof/balcony/window. TV is still free if you want it. Digital now and comes with on screen menu too!
